Land Use Forecast Interactive Map
The Land Use Forecast is the projection of where, how much, and what type of growth will occur in the region. The forecast is a planned, region-wide map of future growth that aligns housing, jobs, and population growth with transportation to ensure infrastructure and policy can support the region's long-term needs.

The dashboard monitors changes across key areas such as economic growth, development, travel, and more within the region.

An annual comprehensive report in priority areas tracking implementation of the Blueprint.

Housing and Community Development
Regional Housing Needs Assessment
The 2025 Blueprint plans for enough housing to meet the needs of the region over the 25 years. Additionally, state law requires that every eight years we consider state housing goals and identify areas within the region sufficient to meet the Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA) for the next cycle.
Green Means Go
Green Means Go supports projects that create more infill housing, increase mobility, and reduce vehicle emissions in locally designated Green Zones through infrastructure investment, technical assistance and policy support.
Mind the Gap
Mind the Gap is a SACOG Housing Initiative that highlights a suite of policies and recommendations to help local governments fill the housing gap that exists in the Sacramento region.
